Master of Science in Physician Assistant

The University invites application from aspiring and eligible candidates to undergo the two-year Post Graduate course in Physician Assistant.

Physician Assistants (PAs) are healthcare professionals licensed (or when employed by the federal government, credentialed) to practice medicine with physician supervision. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, they conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and write prescriptions on behalf of the Physician. Within the Physician-PA relationship, physician Assistants exercise autonomy in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. A PA's practice may also include education, research, and administrative services, increase patient access to primary care, promote cost savings, and improve practice efficiency and productivity.
